If there's a problem...I'll solve it. Check out the hook while my DJ (r)evolves it.

Wii got the funk. And I have the funk, for I have the Wii. I called lx and gloated about it. And texted him, gloating. And emailed. More gloating.
I waited for 2 hours in a line to get that thing and I don't think I've ever done anything dorkier. But it was totally worth it. Now I just need to find the time to play the damn thing.
Gotta go pii now...

Old ride:

This is what I've been tooling around in for the past year, a 1987 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale. I will admit that it has a very satisfying punk rock vibe to it. However, it has cost me enough in repairs and gas money that I could have bought a new car instead. Which I tried to do. My credit, however, is ASS. Stinky, stinky ass. So instead I used the down payment money and bought this... New ride:

It is the same age as the Olds, harkening back to the good ol days of 1987. This is an Acura Integra LS. This was the first car in the US to make use of dual overhead camshaft tech in a 4 cylinder engine. It's fun to drive. Matt Black, car white, together go VROOM.

Some folks just leave it to Chance, but I think that guy is a bit of a dick. Can't be trusted. And Lady Luck? Complete fucking whore. I hang out with Misery a lot. But I am questioning the company I keep. Whatever happened to Faith and Hope? I haven't seen them in forever and a day. Man, I miss those girls.

So I got me a brand new LCD TFT monitor with VGA aaaand DVI inputs. The computer is hooked throught the DVI while the Xbox 360 is hooked through the VGA. I can flip between the ports on the fly which is AWESOME because I can play, pause, check my email, and go back to my game. I am never leaving this room again. Plus, this means I don't have to buy the 360 wireless thingamajiggy since it's hooked directly into my dsl modem, being next to the 'puter and all. I'm downloading game demos as I type this. Also, Saints Row looks ridiculously good on this screen.
Ah, life in the modern world.

The website redesign is live, by the by. There are still broken bits hanging off the sides here and there, smoke curling from the engine, and suchlike. I'll fix it. I'll fix it good. Also, the site does not render well with Firefox. I'll see if I can beat the code into submission sometime soon. Soon-ish. I need to become motivated to give much of a shit about Firefox. Yeah, I know, people are using that stupid browser but I kind of hate it a little. A designer with a site that is not cross-browser compatible. Bad designer! Bad! I was so pleased when IE won the Browser Wars. But noooo, Mozilla has to rear it's ugly, scaly, green head again and lay waste to the internet, ruining it for all of us. Firefox just means more work for me and I am not in support of this. So, maybe I'll make with the beatings soon. Meanwhile, those of you using a proper browser can go check out the site.

Guh, shoot me. So bored. As I just remarked to a friend in email, I should bring my camera in and take artsy pictures to document the ennui of the modern workplace. And then photoshop fire on 'em.
Blugh.

So, Warren Ellis is going to be the curator of a new webcomics portal, Rocket Pirates. This has much promise, in my opinion, as Warren generally comes up with very nifty websites. The title itself put in my head all sorts of amusing images and I decided to use that inspiration for a drawing. It's sort of fan art, I suppose, in that I am a fan of the concept. Anyway - Less talky! More art!
